Shenanigans are brewing in the Gold Country foothills! A group of outlaw road agents have hijacked the Sacramento H3 Red Dress Run and are reportedly holed up in a swanky hotel in Nevada City. Gather your posse, head up the hill and take back what is rightfully yours! Your Rego includes: Saturday breakfast, trail snacks and dinner, Beer, Beer, and more Beer, a special event T-shirt and a donation to Gold Country Wildlife Rescue.
What to expect:
Friday
Let's start the weekend off right by hitting the hooch and running amuck in historic downtown Nevada City. The scoundrels who stole the event will show you the best, or worst, bars this town has to offer. Don your Gold Rush Era fashion! Think saloon ladies, miners, 1850's business people or cum to the dark side and join the outlaws!
Check-in starts at 3pm in the haspitality chalets
7pm- Gold Rush Pub Crawl starting at the Northern Queen Inn. Pub crawl is pay-as-you-go and not included in the rego price.
Saturday
It's time to take back the Red Dress Run! Grab your fanciest red dress and show these ruffians who the Sacramento H3 Red Dress Run really belongs to! Strength in numbers! The punishment for their monkeying? Cooking up a feast for the hungry victors.
8-10am- pancake breakfast at the hashpitality chalet
12pm- Meet in the parking lot of the Northern Queen Inn for trail. Hares away at 12:30.
There will be a choice of 3 trails: Walkers- for you lazy folks who don't like going too far off grid Turkey- light shiggy trail
Eagle- Hard (just the way we like it) for the racy raceists
Taco dinner of grilled chicken, Al Pastor (Pork) and vegetarian fajita mix, beans, rice and salad following trail
Sunday
Eureka! The RDR has been reclaimed! To celebrate, we're going prospecting for gold(en) nectar.
Check out is 11am. As the song goes, you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here. Enjoy more of the foothills incredible scenery with a glorious hangover trail. Cost $5. Location TBD
